treasury
i went to the grand opening of Treasury over the weekend. inside, there was a great vibe with free saki (!!!), a dj, and by mid afternoon--lots of seemingly eager shoppers. the store had really great pieces that could be incorporated into anyone's wardrobe; both understated and funky jewelry, shift dresses, and lace tops similar to this Balmain piece made popular by Rihanna since photographed wearing.

there were lots of vintage finds sourced from estate sales and the like. looking at the items, you really do feel like each is a discovered treasure. no mass produced items here:

caribbean parade 2009
some pics from the parade. i definitely enjoyed myself better the previous year. this seems to be the general concensus from everyone else i've spoken to as well. still, always great to celebrate culture. been so busy lately, sorry for the lateness! enjoy:
